Metamorphic

The 2025 Capstone Galleries and Art Exhibition features work by pre-professional art therapy graduate students. The students will present their work on Monday April 7 and Monday April 14, with both online and in person viewing options available.

Metamorphic

Metamorphic features artwork from Art Therapy pre-professionals who are providing mental health service to a wide range of clients and communities at their internship sites in the Portland area. This show incorporates a wide range of art materials, diversified technical skills, and integration of intersectional identities. This body of work aligns the artist self and the art therapist identity into a transition of metamorphosis. Through their passion, love, and dedication to the field, their clients, and the communities they serve, each artist uses the process of art making as a guide, an anchor and reflection point for self care, and personal growth.
