Shifting Perspectives
The 2026 Capstone Galleries and Art Exhibition features work by pre-professional art therapy graduate students. The students will present their work in spring, with both online and in person viewing options available.
Shifting Perspectives
The exhibition Shifting Perspectives showcases the work of Art Therapy pre-professionals who are delivering mental health services to diverse clients throughout the Portland area. Featuring a wide spectrum of materials, technical skills, and expressions of intersectional identity, this collection captures the pivotal moment in the artists’ careers. The work aligns the artist self with the art therapist identity, chronicling their evolution from student to professional. Motivated by their deep commitment to their clients and the field, the art-making process serves as a powerful means of self-care, reflection, and personal growth.
The 2026 Capstone Presentation and Art Exhibition is on display at the Community Counseling Center Art Gallery and available online below.
