Art Therapy Hosts Second Open Studio for Ukrainian Community on May 1
Art therapists will be present at the event on Sunday, May 1, 2022 to facilitate the process as we set our hearts and wishes in motion by creating art inspired by Ukrainian traditions. All art supplies will be provided and interpreters will be available.

Creative Workshop Celebrating Ukrainian Folk Art
Lutheran Community Services NW, in collaboration with Lewis & Clark Graduate School’s Art Therapy Program, invites the local Ukrainian community to an open studio session on Sunday, May 1, to experience connection and healing through art.
Art therapists will be present at the event to facilitate the process as we set our hearts and wishes in motion by creating art inspired by Ukrainian traditions.
All art supplies will be provided and interpreters will be available.
Free of Charge. All ages.

Now in her fourth year with the Dallas School District, Darr is one of two school psychologists serving students at Whitworth and Oakdale Heights elementary schools, Dallas Community Charter School, and Dallas High School. Last year she served 86 students through the evaluation process and 90 students the year prior.
Piros was presented with the award at a surprise assembly in front of a gym full of excited middle school students in the fall, and will be formally honored at COSA’s annual Seaside Conference in June 2025.
