Volunteer Opportunities

Youth & Family Support Group Facilitators

We are looking for new facilitators for our Youth & Family Support Groups. The groups are independent and age specific (4-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-18 years, adult/parent/caregivers) and meet in the afternoon on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, following a trimester schedule (Sept-Dec; Jan-Apr; May-Aug).

We welcome prospective facilitators who have lived experience as a gender diverse/expansive individual and/or are informed allies, and who have experience in group facilitation, teaching and education, coaching, childhood development, youth groups, social work, counseling, arts, or other relevant areas. If you are interested in becoming a group facilitator, please fill out our application form.

Please note: Successful applicants will have to undergo a background check, interview process, and if selected, participate in a mandatory volunteer training. Facilitators must be committed to a minimum of one full trimester after training.

Guest Speakers/Activity Leaders for Children, Adolescents and Teens

We are looking for guest speakers and activity leaders for our Youth & Family Support Groups. The groups are independent and age specific (4-9 years, 10-13 years 14-18 years, adult/parent/caregivers). We are looking for guest speakers and activity leaders who are interested in creating fun, inclusive, interactive and safe spaces for gender diverse youth. Some topics of interest to our youth include arts & crafts, storytelling, make-up tutorials, and movies, among other things.
