Family and Youth Support Groups
We understand the value of connecting with families and youth who share your experience, have good advice, or have stories that help you find your way.
TransActive support groups offer a safe space to share your hopes (and fears), be your true self, ask questions, and to take the steps towards a more fulfilling, connected life.
Child/Youth Support Group
Child/youth (ages 4-17) groups offer age-appropriate play, activity, and conversation-driven experiential learning. Groups are divided into differing peer groups dependent on age.
Adult Family Support Group
A facilitated group for adult family members (parents, caregivers, aunts/uncles, siblings, etc.) of transgender, gender expansive, queer, and non-binary children and youth.
All groups are facilitated by gender diverse individuals and/or supportive allies.
Support Groups meet on the 1 st and 3 rd Saturday of every month (per trimester, as listed below)
Fall Trimester | September - December |
Spring Trimester | January - April |
Summer Trimester | May - August |
Please note: Participation in these peer support groups is not therapy, a substitute for therapy, or to be labeled as therapy. Those who are interested in options for counseling and therapy may call the Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center at 503-768-6320, or complete an inquiry form.
This site is not currently accepting form submissions due to scheduled maintenance. Please try again later.
