Workshop Participant Agreements

The CCE welcomes you into our learning community. In an effort to make our learning environments – both virtual and in person – professional, collegial and supportive of all participants’ learning, by registering for our offerings you to agree to the following:

Fragrance Free (in person workshops)

CCE’s in person workshops are Fragrance Free. We ask that you refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, scented lotions or other fragranced body care products. Please also refrain from wearing clothing laundered in scented detergents or dryer products. Click here for more information on fragrances and why a fragrance-free environment helps to ensure accessibility for all.

Attendance

Most workshops offer CEUs and/or PDUs. These units are calculated as clock hours ie. 1 CEU = 1 clock hour. Complete attendance and participation is expected to receive the advertised number of CEUs or PDUs. A pro-rated number may be provided for partial attendance. For in-person workshops be sure to sign in to ensure your attendance is counted. Certificates will be issued to the first and last name provided on your registration. For online workshops make sure that your name in Zoom matches the name that you are registered with. If your chosen name is different than the name you registered with and different from the name that you need printed on your certificate, include the last name used in your registration along with your chosen first name in Zoom or contact CCE to ensure we can connect your Zoom participation record with your registration.

Conduct

The CCE staff and our facilitators and instructors reserve the right to remove participants from our workshops who are engaging in behavior that is threatening, abusive, or hateful.

Participation

Only one attendee is allowed per registration. Registrations are not transferable. Do not share your registration confirmation or Zoom link with anyone, or invite un-registered colleagues to sit in with you during a virtual workshop. The Zoom attendance record will be reviewed to confirm your participation. Some online workshops permit participants to choose whether to have their camera on or off. Some may require your camera to be on.
