Dropping a Course
Dropping a course must be done prior to the class start date. Course tuition and fees will be reversed if the course is dropped before or on the first day of class. After the first day of class, a $25 late drop fee will be assessed and tuition will be prorated according to the tuition refund schedule Course fees are nonrefundable.
To drop a course, students must complete the Certificate Program CE Course Drop Form
Ceasing to attend a class, whether or not you have notified the instructor does not relieve you of the responsibility to complete the course drop process described above.
Students may withdraw from a course if they have completed up to 75% of the course*. In this case, a grade notation of “W” (withdrawn) is recorded for that course. Withdrawals are not permitted after 75% of the course. Students who stop attending a course after 75% will not be eligible for a “W” and will receive an “NC” (no credit) grade.
*The percentage of the course completed is calculated based on the period between the first course meeting and the last course meeting (not the number of course meetings attended).
Inactive Program Status
Students with an approved leave of absence who remain unenrolled for more than 12 months or students who take leave without an approved leave of absence will have their enrollment in the program inactivated and be required to apply for readmission to the program. Students will be responsible for meeting program requirements as outlined in the current graduate catalog.
Special Student Status
Graduates of the Eating Disorders Certificate program may enroll as Special Students in new classes that are added to the Certificate curriculum after their program completion. Only program alumni who have been awarded the certificate are eligible to enroll as Special Students.
Special Students are subject to all policies including add/drop and withdrawal procedures and the creation and use of an LClark email account for all course related communications and participation.
Special Student registrations will be offered as space allows, no more than 4 weeks prior to the course start date.
Currently, Eating Disorders in Transgender and Gender Expansive Populations (CECP 841) is the only course eligible for Special Student enrollment. To apply for Special Student enrollment in CECP 841, contact cce@clark.edu to request the Special Student application form.
