Dr. Melissa “Missy” Satterberg PhD, ATR-BC, LMFT, LCAT (She/Her)
Dr. Satterberg holds a Doctorate in Art Therapy and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Oregon and California, a nationally Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist, and a Certified Art Therapist in Oregon. With over 20 years of clinical experience and a teaching career in university settings since 2013, her practice is grounded in cultural humility and a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. Her clinical experience includes foster care and adoption services, community mental health treatment for children and adolescents, hospital/medical intensive outpatient programs for adolescents and adults, school-based counseling, adult day treatment programs, and as Director of a large group practice in the Bay Area. She currently practices in Oregon and California.
