Bridge the Divides: Exploring understanding around gun violence using art and dialogue

The purpose of this dialogue is to create a space for our community to engage in thoughtful conversation about gun violence and its far-reaching effects. Participants will be invited to reflect on the artwork currently exhibited and share their experiences in ways that foster connection and understanding.

We will be hosting two separate discussion sessions:

  • Morning Session: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
  • Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Our aim is to facilitate a dialogue that respects individual experiences and promotes emotional well-being, without re-experiencing trauma. We encourage participants to thoughtfully select stories to share that allow them to remain emotionally regulated and fully engaged in the conversation.

Art materials will be available at each table for participants to use as a tool for grounding and regulation throughout the discussion.

This event is exclusively for the Lewis & Clark community. An LC email address is required to sign up.

Light refreshments will be provided.

We believe that coming together as a community to discuss challenging topics is essential for fostering understanding and support. We hope you will consider joining us for this important dialogue.

Space is limited so please get your spot! Sign up here
