Art Therapy GSoCA Co-Chair Kayla Marie Estrada (she/her)

Co-Chair - Art Therapy ’24

Kayla Marie Estrada is a Filipinx-American who was born and raised in Hawaii. She is this year’s GSoCA Co-Chair representative for the Art Therapy program at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. As Kayla pursues her degree she hopes to cultivate accessible and necessary resources for local BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Disabled communities. Through GSoCA, she looks forward to meeting and connecting with BIPOC folks across the graduate school!


Sheyla Dorantes Sanchez Co-Chair

Sheyla Dorantes Sanchez (she/they/he)

Co-Chair - Secondary Education ’23

Sheyla is a Latine/Chicanx-identifying student in the Secondary Education Program. Community being a true source of joy and healing for Sheyla, they are excited to be GSoCA co-chair to strengthen and build community across programs here at LC. Sheyla’s dream is to create a truly inclusive classroom, rooted in decolonization, equity, and respect. They hope to see new faces at future GSoCA events!


Zoë Reneé App

Zoë Reneé App (she/her)

Co-Chair - Professional Mental Health Counseling ’23

Zoë Reneé App is a Black, biracial student from Portland, Oregon representing as co-chair for the Professional Mental Health Counseling (PMHC) program at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Zoe loves to work with kids and dreams to exist at the intersection between mental health and movement. She is passionate about representation in mental health care and social justice for all. 


Erin Burgess - PMHCA Erin Burgess (she/they)

Co-Chair - Professional Mental Health Counseling - Specialization in Addictions ’23

Erin Burgess is a Black, biracial student from Lewes, Delaware, and is the GSoCA co-chair for the Professional Mental Health Counseling-Addictions (PMHC-A) program at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Erin aspires to go on to complete her PhD after graduating this year, so that she may work in academia in addition to practice. She is passionate about activism and making changes that empower historically underserved communities. She enjoys meeting new people and having thoughtful conversations. Kelly Orozco Kelly Orozco (she/her)

Co-Chair - School Counseling ’23

Kelly Orozco is a Mixed Chicana proudly representing the M.Ed School Counseling program here at LC. She is passionate about equity, social justice, and mental health. She is happy to serve as a Co-Chair for GSoCA this academic year. Kelly is passionate about helping K-12 students and hopes to bring more light and representation to the mixed community at the schools she works at.
