Health and Wellness
A student’s ability to persist through their academic programs and thrive in their chosen professions is dependent upon the ability to remain well physically, psychologically, and spiritually. The Graduate School is dedicated to supporting students in a holistic approach to pursue, create, and maintain healthy, well-balanced lifestyles.
The Student Health Center is available for on-campus health care, with a focus on prevention. Health insurance coverage is available year-round to all graduate students through the institution’s Student Insurance Plan. The Counseling Center is also available to support students as they cope with the responsibilities of school, work, family, or relationships. For students’ spiritual needs, the Center for Spiritual Life and Agnes Flanagan Chapel regularly host interfaith services and support moral and spiritual dialogue in the context of mutual support.
Graduate students also have access to all of the campus athletics facilities, including Pamplin Sports Center, Eldon Fix Track, Griswold Stadium, Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion, and the Tennis Dome. College Outdoors offers organized trips including cross-country skiing, backpacking, sea kayaking, and hiking; on-campus activities such as films and seminars on outdoor topics; and equipment rental.
Graduate School Admissions is located in South Chapel Annex on the Graduate Campus.
