All Lewis & Clark graduate applicants are also required to fulfill the graduate school’s general admissions requirements for all programs. Please carefully review all admissions requirements as only complete applications will be considered for admission.
Admissions Requirements For All Graduate Programs Begin Your Online Application
These programs are now accepting applications for 2024.

Inservice Endorsement Only Prerequisite
Our endorsement programs are designed for individuals who hold a valid, regular teaching license (Preliminary, Professional, Standard) and want to expand their knowledge related to teaching PK-12 students.
Inservice Endorsement Only Application Requirements
Applications and all supporting materials must be received by the Graduate Admissions Office before the file is submitted to faculty for review.
Applicants to all Teacher Education endorsement programs are required to write an essay. The essay may be single-spaced or double-spaced and is submitted electronically as part of the online application process.
- In one or two pages, detail your goals for graduate study. What are the key questions or issues that have led you to pursue this endorsement? In addition, please address your understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how your teaching experiences or other experiences in education have influenced your aspirations to pursue this endorsement.
All applicants must hold a minimum 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), or the equivalent in their undergraduate degree.
Applicants who have an GPA of less than a 2.75 on their undergraduate, degree-posted transcript are required to provide a statement that explains their previous academic record.
Applicants must hold a valid regular teaching license. You will be required to answer questions about your license on the online application.
