Admissions Requirements For All Graduate Programs Begin Your Online Application

Ecotherapies Certificate Prerequisite
Applicants must have a graduate level mental health or counseling background. The program is appropriate for:

Students currently enrolled or admitted to one of the following Lewis & Clark Counseling, Therapy, and School Psychology programs: Art Therapy, Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, Professional Mental Health Counseling, Professional Mental Health Counseling-Addictions, or School Psychology. Students in the School Counseling program are also eligible. The students must be in good standing.
- Students currently enrolled in a Lewis & Clark master’s degree and wish to enroll in a certificate program are eligible for an abbreviated application process. Please contact your program’s department office or the graduate admissions office for more information.
- Alumni of Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling counseling programs. Requires program coordinator approval.
- Professionals with prior education and/or experience in the mental health or counseling fields. Faculty will review transcripts and resumes to determine eligibility.
- Master’s level graduates with comparable prerequisites from a regionally accredited program.
- Current graduate students undertaking comparable counseling or related degree programs at other regionally accredited institutions.
Ecotherapies Certificate Application Requirements
To be considered for admission, the application form and all supporting materials must be received by the Lewis & Clark Graduate Admissions office on or before the published application deadline.
All applicants must hold a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), or the equivalent in their graduate degree.
Applicants who have an GPA of less than a 3.0 on their graduate, degree-posted transcript are required to provide a statement that explains their previous academic record.
