Trans Youth Support & Advocacy Application Requirements
Admission to the graduate school requires the completion of all standard admissions requirements in addition to the program-specific admission requirements outlined below.

A current professional resume listing positions, prior education, awards, classroom experience, and volunteer activities.Transcripts
One official transcript must be submitted from each post-secondary institution attended regardless of the length of study or the number of courses taken. This includes all college-level credit earned while in high school or while participating in study abroad programs.
Applicants are required to write two essays. These essays are an opportunity for you to share with us why graduate studies at Lewis & Clark will help you realize your goals. The essays are submitted electronically as part of the online application.
Essay 1 — Describe your existing awareness, understanding or expertise regarding gender expansive, transgender, nonbinary or queer identity and expression. (250 words max)
Essay 2 — Describe your goals in pursuing this certificate program. (500 words max)
All applicants must hold a minimum 2.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), or the equivalent in their undergraduate degree.
Applicants who have an GPA of less than a 2.75 on their undergraduate, degree-posted transcript are required to provide a statement that explains their previous academic record.
