Allison W. Watkins
Clinical Assistant Professor of School Psychology
Allison W. Watkins, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Program at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. She earned her doctorate in Special Education from the University of Oregon, where she specialized in Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports, Implementation Science, and Special Education Administration.
Dr. Watkins has held numerous leadership roles in education and her professional experience spans school, district, and state-level systems, with a focus on building capacity for equitable implementation of inclusive, evidence-based practices.
Her research and publications explore multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), systems coaching, and inclusive practices, with a commitment to improving outcomes for students with disabilities. She has provided technical assistance and professional development nationally and is passionate about preparing future school psychologists and educators to lead meaningful systems change.
