For the past 25 years, Megan has been a passionate member and advocate of the LGBTQIA2S community. She was an enthusiastic certificate recipient in the first cohort of the Gender Diversity Certificate in Children and Youth Certificate Program at Lewis & Clark Graduate School.
Over the course of 20 years, Megan has built a successful coaching and consulting practice centered on bridging the gaps between people, groups, and organizations. She builds and delivers engaging and thought-provoking curriculum in a high-energy, memorable, and engaging formats. She has trained other adult educators on thoughtful, immersive curriculum development utilizing a self-developed, step-by-step framework. Additionally, she has been certified in organizational change management (OCM) and subsequently both applied and taught OCM in the U.S. and across SE Asia in a culturally informed, engaging manner.
Megan is curious. And she inspires those around her to be curious too. Megan prompts her students to ask why and how, to dig for the root cause, and to explore connections to their lives. She is a natural and trained coach - working with both individuals and organizations to reach their highest potential.
Megan hasn’t followed a traditional career path, choosing instead to chase her curiosity across industries and roles, creating positive change and teams with changed perspectives along the way. Her breadth of knowledge means she’s quick with real-life examples, deftly breaks down complexity, and asks insightful questions that provoke deep thought and growth in her students.
Megan has a Masters of Science in Education from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Mills College.
