Hello! I’m originally from Kansas City. In undergrad, I studied Human Development and Family Studies at Kansas State University. I have a deep passion for culture and languages, which took me to New Zealand during my undergraduate studies, where I got to visit Hobbiton. After graduation, I spent a year living in a small mountain town in Germany near Basel. Since then, I’ve been working as a preschool teacher.

The School Psychology program at Lewis and Clark drew me in because of its comprehensive approach, including a pre-practicum, group counseling, practicum, and paid internship, all of which provide valuable real-world preparation. The coursework’s focus on social justice was also a major factor in my decision to pursue this path.

Outside of work, I’m an avid birder, I love to hike and go backpacking. When indoors, I enjoy spending time with my cats, practicing yoga, playing Zelda, and doing puzzles while listening to fantasy audiobooks.
