Megan McCaffrey

Megan McCaffrey (she/her) discovered her passion for education as an undergraduate at Lewis & Clark, where she earned her BA in Sociology and Anthropology in 2015. While studying abroad in Kenya and Tanzania, she conducted independent research on girls’ access to education, interviewing students in Swahili and presenting her findings to village elders to promote greater opportunities. After graduation, she volunteered and traveled abroad before teaching high school social studies and serving as a college and career advisor at a Title I charter school in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Now back at Lewis & Clark, Megan supports aspiring educators and counselors as they take the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
