Lena Khammassi

Hello, my name is Lena Khammassi and I am the Administrative Coordinator for Lewis & Clark Problem Gambling Services since 2021. Originally from the Netherlands, I graduated with a degree in Criminology and worked for Victim Services. Before I left for the US I was the Case Management Coordinator for high-impact crime cases working alongside survivors and victims’ families to navigate their legal, emotional, and practical needs. After arriving in Portland, I volunteered at IRCO at their Legal Services Department and assisted with developing their Human Trafficking program, where I got to learn so much about Portland’s wide range of community services. Starting at PGS gave me the opportunity to get familiar with a new line of service, namely to help people who struggle with gambling. I strongly believe that everything we do at PGS should be in service to you. I will always do my best to stay in communication with you and assist you and your counselor along all steps of your journey.
