Laura Barbour
Clinical Assistant Professor, Elementary MAT Program Director
Dr. Laura Barbour is an Assistant Professor in the School Counseling Program at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Dr. Barbour brings a wide range of educational and counseling experience to the classroom as a professional school counselor and special education teacher. She received her PhD in Counseling from Oregon State University and her licensure training in School Counseling from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Laura served as President on the Oregon School Counselor Association Governing Board. Dr. Barbour’s professional and research interests include compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction, self-care, and self-compassion among school counselors.
