Mary Stuart Rogers Scholarship

Established in 1995 by the Mary Stuart Rogers Foundation and awarded to graduate school students who are pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching and whose outstanding academic achievements are complemented by qualities of leadership, dedication, integrity, compassion, sensitivity, and self-discipline. Mary Stuart Rogers (1918-1993), the mother of two daughters and of Lewis & Clark Trustee John S. Rogers and the late James W. Rogers BA ’64, was very attentive to world affairs and deeply committed to providing opportunities—particularly educational opportunities—to individuals in need who were also motivated to succeed. Rogers scholarships are also awarded annually to juniors and seniors in the College of Arts and Sciences.
