The Transcendence Project
Comprehensive Services for Transgender & Nonbinary Clients
At the Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center, we believe that every transgender and nonbinary (TNB) individual deserves a safe and supportive space to explore their identity and navigate their unique journey. Our dedicated team of compassionate counselors-in-training and therapist-trainees specializes in LGBTQ+ issues, offering personalized care tailored to each person’s needs.
Our program is built on a rigorous training and supervision model that emphasizes a deep understanding of the diverse and complex experiences of TNB individuals. Our student trainees receive specialized instruction in gender identity, social stigma, family dynamics, and the impact of societal attitudes on mental health and self-esteem. This comprehensive approach ensures that our counselors are equipped to provide affirming and culturally competent care.
We recognize that TNB individuals face unique challenges, including discrimination, healthcare barriers, and social isolation. Our counseling services are designed to support emotional well-being, foster self-acceptance, and build resilience. Whether you are seeking guidance in identity exploration, mental health support, or navigating life transitions, we are here to help. Choose the CCC for a journey of growth, understanding, and empowerment in a space where you are seen, heard, and supported.
