Bus

For complete details and arrival times, visit the Trimet website. The following bus routes service the bus stop at SW Barbur and SW Hamilton (at the intersection where the clinic is located) in both northbound (into downtown) and west/southbound (toward Tigard, Sherwood, etc.) directions:

• 12 Barbur/Sandy
• 38 Boones Ferry Rd.
• 44 Capitol Hwy/Mocks Crest
• 45 Garden Home
• 54 Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy
• 55 Hamilton
• 56 Scholls Ferry Rd.

Bus #43 also serves a nearby stop at SW Corbet and SW Hamilton, just down the hill from the center.

Bike

There are dedicated bicycle lanes on SW Barbur Boulevard that provide bike access directly from downtown Portland. However, please be aware that Barbur Boulevard is a heavy traffic area. If you are coming from far away or prefer not to ride on Barbur Boulevard, you may also find the online bike route planner Ride the City helpful, or the bicycle route planner available through Google Maps.

Drive

From Downtown Portland: Head south on 4th Avenue or SW Naito Parkway, which both merge with SW Barbur Boulevard. Continue on Barbur. Just under two miles beyond downtown, you will pass the intersection with SW Bancroft street. Immediately after this intersection, look for the Swan Mart on your left. Make the next right on SW Hamilton and another immediate right to enter the Counseling Center parking lot. The Counseling Center is in a building with signs that say “Confederated Tribes of the Grande Ronde.”

From southwest Portland: Drive north on Barbur Boulevard. (Note: From the south, there are no left turns for a direct entry into the Counseling Center parking lot.) Take a right on SW Bancroft (the next street past the Swan Mart to indicate this intersection), then turn right on SW Corbett, right on SW Hamilton (get into the middle lane before crossing the intersection), and left onto SW Barbur Bvd, getting immediately into the right lane. At the first right, turn right onto SW Hamilton and immediately enter the counseling center parking lot driveway on the right. 

From I5 North: Head south on I5 and follow signs for I405N (signs for 26/City Center/Beaverton). Take exit 1B to merge onto SW 4th Street. Turn right onto SW Market Street, then right onto SW Naito Parkway. Naito merges with SW Barbur Boulevard. Once on Barbur, follow directions above for “from downtown Portland.”

From I5 South: Take exit 298 for Corbett Avenue. Turn left on SW Corbett, left onto SW Hamilton, left on SW Barbur. Get immediately into the right lane and turn right on SW Hamilton, followed by an immediate right into the counseling center parking lot.

Pioneer Express Shuttle

The Pioneer Express travels between downtown Portland and the Lewis & Clark campus roughly once every hour. During limited hours, the shuttle stops at the Community Counseling Center to drop off and pick up Lewis & Clark students. Visit the shuttle information page for a current schedule.
